Oliver Winter

Oliver Winter is a distinguished Product Coach, trainer, and consultant with over 15 years of hands-on experience in digital product management across leading companies and complex organizational landscapes. His professional journey is shaped by his commitment to building products that genuinely serve user needs while aligning with business strategy and market demands.

Before transitioning into independent coaching, Oliver held high-impact leadership roles including Head of Product Management for VideoOnDemand at Mediengruppe RTL, Director of Product at HRS Robert Ragge GmbH, and Director of Product at Ligatus GmbH. These positions provided him with deep insight into the realities of digital product development—from roadmap creation and stakeholder alignment to iterative delivery and cross-functional team leadership.

Today, as a freelance Product Coach, Oliver supports organizations, product leaders, and product owners in designing and managing products that create tangible value. His focus areas include Product Discovery, Product Strategy, and Product Vision, as well as the hands-on implementation of effective product management practices within agile environments.

He also acts as a long-term consultant to companies across media, IT services, and insurance, offering strategic guidance, individual coaching, and workshop facilitation. Known for his solution-oriented approach, Oliver regularly runs workshops for product managers, product owners, and Scrum teams—fostering clarity, ownership, and better collaboration.

Once a year, he takes on an interim product owner role within a client company for several weeks, allowing him to stay grounded in real-world team dynamics and continuously refine his coaching content based on current challenges. This unique practice enables him to combine theory with lived experience, delivering impactful support to product organizations at any stage of maturity.

He is a Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP-SM & CSP-PO), Certified Agile Leadership (CAL), and Certified Scrum@Scale Practitioner.
